Wyatt Emerich over at the The Cleveland Current has created this table outlining some current entitlements in the U.S. It’s hard to argue that total economic benefit is equal in this case, as Medicaid and Food Stamps aren’t exactly spend it however you want money, but the point gets across. Workers may have trouble getting motivated with so many reasons not to be.
