It’s important for Americans to note that Canada has several options for the future of its oil production, and not all of them involve the U.S.

Canada would prefer the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline go through as it grants them the most benefit, but there are certainly other ways for them to capitalize on their precious black gold.

Visual Capitalist nicely lays out these options and what they might mean for the future of energy production and demand. The Keystone XL pipeline could end up being a very beneficial project for the U.S., but the job creation touted by the pipeline’s supporters is likely overblown.
