Another sign of the times, people are doing anything now to put food on the table. Nils Sterndorff, manager of the new Priss supermarket in Süderlügum, North Frisia, which borders Germany and Denmark, decided to give away £220 worth of free groceries to the first 100 naked shoppers.
He expected maybe 10 people to participate. Sterndorff was pleasantly surprised when 250 people showed, so many that police could only allow them in the store in batches of 20 to avoid a stampede of birthday suits.
