The Census Bureau reports that business inventories for May 2012 were $1,578.4 billion, up 0.3 percent (+/-0.1%) from last month. U.S. total business sales were $1,245.2 billion, down 0.1 percent (+/-0.2%)* from last month.
The inventories-to-sales ratio ticked up to 1.27 from 1.26.
