Back in January, Rand Paul proposed amendment 1490 to the STOCK Act, a suggestion congress was sure to hate. Rand argued that if politicians leave office and go on to become lobbyists, then they are not deserving of taxpayer-funded government pensions and insurance coverage.

No chance in hell it passes of course, but still a noble effort from the good senator.
