The Reuters / University of Michigan Consumer Sentiment Index is up in the month of August to 73.6, above July’s figure of 72.3 and analysts expectations of 72.2.
Consumer sentiment still remains quite low, but it is positive to see some life following a slump in the second half of 2011.
