The Department of Labor reports more of the same this week in jobless claims, with initial claims at 367,000, 4,000 higher than last week’s always revised 363,000.
The insured unemployment rate remained unchanged at 2.6%.
The number of insured unemployed was 3,281,000, unchanged from last week’s revised figure.
