We’re in the final phase of the election, so I’ll be updating the 2012 U.S. Presidential election odds daily now.
As of today’s Intrade close, Barack Obama currently holds a 61.5% chance to win, 0.4% higher than the odds he held yesterday. Mitt Romney is 38.6% to win, 0.5% lower than yesterday.
A month ago the race was all but won. In fact, just about the entire month of September was all Obama, everyday. In October, we have seen the reverse, with Romney gaining ground, sometimes very considerable ground, most days this month.
