Building The World’s Largest Ship

The now largest ship in the world is Maersk Line’s Triple E class, a 400 meter long and 59 meter wide monstrosity capable of carrying up to 18,000 TEU.

A timelapse has been compiled by the Discovery Channel of the construction of the very first Triple E class at the DSME shipyard in Okpo, Korea. This consists of 50 thousand photos taken over 3 months.
