Bangladesh Has Become A Leading Clothing Exporter

Using data from the World Trade Organization, the WSJ has a cool graphic showing the change in the top 10 clothing exporters from 2005 to 2011.

China remains the goliath on top, over doubling its exports in 6 years, with Italy remaining a distant second. While Italy’s clothing exports have grown, they have not grown at nearly the rate of the other nations on this list, and it appears they could be unseated from the #2 slot rather soon.

The biggest mover on the list is Bangladesh, nearly tripling its clothing exports in 6 years, and moving all the way up to #3.
