Growth Slowing In Store Sales

Growth in U.S. store sales has been volatile but generally slowing. The U.S. Census Bureau will report retail sales for May on Thursday.

For the week ending June 8, the ICSC-Goldman store sales index declined to +2.2% year over year gains compared to +4.3% Y/Y the week prior.

The Redbook store sales index decreased to +2.8% year over year gains compared with +2.9% Y/Y the week prior.
