U.S. Store Sales Continue Mediocre Growth

U.S. store stales improved last week, but not by much. Both leading weekly reports cite warming temperatures in most regions as fueling the purchase of seasonal goods.

The ICSC-Goldman store sales index 4-week-moving-average shows years over year gains of 3.0%, compared to 3.1% Y/Y for the week prior period.

The Redbook store sales index 4-week-moving-average shows Y/Y gains of 2.8% compared to the 2.7% Y/Y increase the week prior.
