The Global CPI Heat Map

J.P. Morgan routinely publishes an excellent heat map showing global changes in the consumer price index. The numbers below are scaled by their moves from below normal (deepest red) to above normal (deepest green).

The highest inflation on the map is in Venezuela, which has historically had very high inflation already, but in June was at a ridiculous 37.1%. Greece is experiencing the greatest deflation with current CPI at -0.4%.
